Hero of the day! Mathieu van der Poel for the 6th time World Champion cyclo-cross

Mathieu van der Poel has crowned himself cyclocross world champion in the Czech town of Tabor for the 6th time. Exactly nine years after his very first title - also in Tabor - he crossed the line first last Sunday. The rainbow jersey is the icing on the cake of a cyclocross season in which Van der Poel rode a near-perfect course.  

Tibor Del Grosso also has crowned himself world champion in the U23s! Double success for Alpecin-Deceuninck.
