Confection Worker – Fabric Cutter (Sun Protection Systems)

From our sites in the Kortrijk region, we have grown – together with approximately 350 employees – into a leading player in the international market of outdoor sun shade shelter solutions. To strengthen our dynamic team, we are looking for worker profiles within the confection department.

Job function


As a cutter within the confection department, you are responsible for correctly cutting the fabrics used for sun protection systems.

  • You cut the fabrics to the correct length and width according to the specified dimensions.

  • You work with various materials such as acrylic, PVC.

  • Cutting is done using a computer-controlled system, for which you use the correct settings and parameters.

  • You ensure a correct and precise finishing of the cut fabrics.

Your profile


Skills

  • You have good arithmetic, geometric and spatial insight.

  • You can work with a computer.

  • You speak Dutch and/or French.

  • You are able to lift fabric rolls and turn fabrics.

As a Person

  • You are physically fit and in good condition.

  • You are accurate and quality-oriented.

  • You are flexible and willing to work overtime and on Saturdays during the high season (March – July).

Our offer


  • Working hours are from 08:00 to 16:35 (38 h), and during high season from 07:00 to 17:05 (45 h).

  • Shift work is an option.

  • Market-conform salary according to wage scales, supplemented with meal vouchers and hospitalisation insurance.

  • Collective holidays in August and December (Christmas period).

  • After an initial interim period and a positive evaluation, you may qualify for a contract.
