Robust & compact awning
The B50 S is the little brother of the B50 XL. The B50 awnings have an oval and compact design. For optimal protection of the components, there is a completely closed housing. This way, both the components and the fabric remain in their original state for a very long time – no matter what the weather conditions. Thanks to its robust housing, the B50 S can be up to 5.5 m wide and has a maximum projection of 3 m. The B50 S can be very easily mounted on the wall or ceiling with only two supports, which is ideal for apartments.
Elegant & sleek design
The ingenious technology of the Brustor awnings does not stand in the way of a beautiful design. The B50 S has a sleek design and is equipped with a strong folding arm with two steel cables. As an elegant design is very important to us, we offer the possibility to add integrated LED lighting in the housing or in the folding arms (optional). As with all Brustor awnings, this one is equipped with a built-in motor from Somfy, which ensures a very easy operation with remote control or via your smartphone.
Personalize to your liking
The B50 S is available in 4 standard colors: Brustor white, RAL 7016, RAL 9001, and RAL 9005ST. This last color was added because of the ongoing trend to install black frameworks. Other RAL colors are possible, but optional. So, you can choose the color that best suits your windows and home. Finally, you can equip the B50 S with numerous options. In addition to atmospheric LED lighting, you can also add patio heaters or a valance as an extra protection against the low sun.

You can even set scenes based on time and temperature. For instance, when temperatures get too toasty, your screens lower automatically. Plus, your device lets you know when your sun shading solution is active. You don’t need to be home at all for efficient temperature control.

Looking for a real treat? Say hello to the Tahoma Box! Whether home or away, you’ve always got full control of your sun shading solution. Set your sun shading solution anytime and anywhere with a smartphone, laptop, or tablet. Premium comfort is in the details. And that’s why you can set various scenes based on the time of day and temperature. That way, your screens automatically lower when it gets too hot out – even when you’re not home. Like home automation systems, the Tahoma box connects to the internet. That means you can remotely control your sun shading solution. Another great perk? Official installers and Brustor dealers can log into the system to troubleshoot any issues remotely. That’s a win-win for you and the installer. The box runs on IO and RTS systems for guaranteed compatibility.
Wired technology
Wired technology connects your awning’s control to the motors with physical wiring. You control your solution with a switch or a home automation panel.
WT motors are slightly less versatile and aren’t compatible with Somfy Smart Home.
But the major advantage of wired technology is that it allows seamless screen integration with your home automation system. So, you operate your Brustor solution the same way you do all your other household devices. All home automation systems are customised to the client’s needs, and Wired Technology offers the seamless integration you’re looking for.

Options
Waved or straight valance
A straight or waved valance is an extra fabric, which is attached to the front of the awning. The valance is possible on nearly all Brustor folding arm awnings and creates an extra touch if a logo or company name is printed on it. Moreover, the valance provides that little bit of extra shade when the sun is low in the sky.
