Relaxing on the rooftop terrace in Italy
Nestled amongst the peaks of the South Tyrolean mountains lies the Napura Art & Design Hotel. Outside, the architectural facade with its impressive mural immediately catches the eye, and inside, a mix of styles enchants design lovers. The absolute bonus, however, lies higher up on the roof: a place where sunlight has free rein and guests spend the day in pure relaxation.

Aesthetics in every detail
Napura Art & Design did not pluck its name from the air; they have created a true world of art and aesthetics here. And you can feel it in every detail: the soft lighting, geometric lines and carefully chosen materials create a luxurious atmosphere. You sense immediately that it’s all about warmth, wellness and good company here, in every corner. Works of art pop up everywhere in the hotel, from sculptures in the lobby to paintings in every suite. Staying at Napura feels a bit like spending the night in a gallery.
The owners continued the exclusive feel of the interior in designing the rooftop terrace, where the louvres of the reed-green B200XL patio cover create a lovely play of light and maximum sun protection.
Patio cover with louvred roof
Once outside, guests enjoy the spacious rooftop terrace where they can take in the unobstructed view, comfortably protected from the sun under the Brustor patio cover. In order to shade the over 73 m² of terrace space, several roof sections were coupled via a star-shaped configuration. A total of six B200XL louvred roofs were installed. The rotating louvres filter sunlight and provide shade when necessary or shelter when it rains - the louvred roof can also be closed completely when the first drops start to fall.
The design is fully tailored to the surroundings: the custom reed-green colour (RAL 6013) ensures the terrace blends into the mountain landscape and the integrated LED strips create a warm, inviting atmosphere at night. Thanks to the use of ZIP screens as side walls, guests are also protected from low sun and wind without losing the view.
The pergola is part of the Sky Terrace, where it’s all about slowing down. Guests sip their first coffee of the day here in the morning. Later, they take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool or relax in one of the Jacuzzis with a view of the valley. As the sun begins to set, guests make their way to the Sky Bar, where a sunset aperitif or tasty bite under the stars is the perfect way to close out the day. The smart design keeps the terrace pleasant any time of day: sheltered from bright sun but always open to the fresh mountain air and the view. As a guest here, you might briefly forget that the world below goes on.
